Consciousness Lab is a space where we deconstruct the absurdities of human behavior using the ancient, razor-sharp psychological tools of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. We get under the hood of the mind to figure out why we stay stuck in patterns that don't serve us, focusing on two main pillars:
-
Pattern Disrupting : We identify the mental "whirlpools"—the repetitive thoughts and habits that dictate our days—and learn how to break the cycle.
-
Myth Busting: We expose the fundamental myths and illusions—like ego, attachment, and fear—that color our reality and cause unnecessary struggle.
To make sense of these deep concepts, we look to my neighbor, Nas. Based on the legendary Sufi "wise fool" Mulla Nasruddin, Nas is our constant case study. Whether he’s throwing breadcrumbs to "keep tigers away" in the suburbs or looking for his lost keys under a streetlamp because "the light is better there," Nas represents the glorious absurdity of the human ego.
By watching Nas, we see our own mental glitches in high definition. By applying Patanjali, we learn how to fix them. If you’re ready to stop throwing crumbs at phantom tigers and start seeing life as it actually is, join us.
